At Arteria, we believe there are two essential ingredients that are required in order to solve problems: trust and creative thinking.


Now, don't go putting us inside a little box labelled digital agency, or design studio or integrated ad agency. That's just boring. While labels are convenient, they’re exactly why the advertising industry hasn't evolved for decades – And frankly, it's time it did.

It’s an unusual place to start, but trust is actually critical to the process of problem solving. Trust ensures a common approach to understanding a problem, and requires honesty and respect to flow freely during the process. You might be thinking this sounds like fluff and bubbles.


That’s probably because you haven’t worked with an agency that you can trust. Yet. Arteria only cares about our clients' best interests. We ask for their trust and we give everything we can to be worthy of it.

In terms of creative thinking, we approach problem solving as a process of identifying and eliminating causes.

The cause might derive from human malfunction, technical deficiencies, poor planning or design, wayward messaging, brand lethargy or maybe just bad timing.


God forbid the cause might be a mix of all the above. So who do you turn to? Well, in a conformist world you would turn to multiple agencies that each specialise in a particular area: brand, traditional comms, digital, PR, activations and so on. 


In a non-conformist world, you would turn to us. As a channel agnostic agency, Arteria strives to solve problems first, and then decide how we communicate second. It's for this very reason that we won't necessarily always do what we're asked to do. Think of us as your laboratory for problem solving. Your Devil's Advocate. Your Mr Fox.

Relocating  from Melbourne to Bendigo was a strategic move for our business. Being detached from the bullshit of agency land means we can think clearly for our clients, free from the influence of the visual zeitgeist.


We also maintain equilibrium in our client roster. We call it inter-regional development. 

Simply put, what we learn from working on cutting edge campaigns with our metropolitan clients, we apply to our regional clients – and what we learn from working with deeply engaged audiences for our regional clients, we apply to our metropolitan clients.


Everyone wins. And it also means if you need us in Melbourne for a meeting we can be there, no probs.


Let’s be honest. Every agency is going to be able to provide a solution to your problem. But let’s be practical. Not all solutions are created equal.


It’s the quality of the solution that determines how your business will ultimately perform. As such the quality of the solutions we offer you, is the quality of our work and inextricably linked to how our business performs.

Our methodology is not entirely standard either. When working with our clients, we aim to identify the actual root of the problem and define the solution before we undertake the creative execution.


We don’t just pick our favourite colours, or use the the tools we know. We won't retro-fit a rationale after the creative has been developed, the rationale is the raison d'être for the execution.


We don't see how it can justifiably happen any other way.

By framing the problem properly, we can then get on with the task of being feverishly inventive in the way we solve it.
